The oldest business on the coast, the Golden West Saloon has been operating since the late 1800's. Originally a destination for workers coming in out of the forest, it was a bar, restaurant and brothel with its own holding cell for miscreants. Today it boasts full, competition sized shuffle board tables, brand new pool tables, pinball and a broad variety of Northern Californian liquors and beers.

About the Owners

The Golden West fondly refers to both the historic building and Golden West Saloon at 128, 130 & 132 E Redwood Avenue Fort Bragg, Ca. They're owned by two separate LLC's which are both comprised of four partners each. Jessica and Mikael Haye are members of each and manage both businesses. Both having grown up here on the coast, it was the specific lure of the Golden West that brought them back and their partners to the table. Putting one foot in front the other, they're putting love into the building, working to improve and update the facilities while keeping the historic soul intact.
